We are currently recruiting for teaching/assessing roles within our Activate Technology team to delivery of Engineering teaching within our Reading and Bracknell Campus. The role will support teams working in delivery of our qualifications in fields including electrical, electronic, mechanical, design & maintenance Engineering.

The role is a permanent, and will consider full time and part time applications.  

What do you need to be successful in this role?

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of working within Engineering organisations or teaching Engineering courses. However, more importantly they must share our passion for: developing the skills, knowledge & behaviour of apprentices they support; consistently exceeding customer expectations; developing innovative delivery models; and continuously improving the quality of our service.

Successful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification or experience. Whilst we would prefer applications from qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, we would consider applications from unqualified applicants, with the ability to inspire our learners and a willingness to complete a teaching qualification. Unqualified candidates would start at a lower salary point and this could be discussed at interview, if successfully shortlisted. 

In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
