About the role 

You will be responsible for working with a portfolio of learners and apprentices using blended learning approach, providing clear and concise instruction on practical skills and theoretical knowledge, and assessing for high quality delivery within the Electrical industry.

Working with learners to achieve their level 3 apprenticeship, you will also be responsible for arranging apprentices’ assessments, exams/tests in-line with the programme, latest guidelines, and policies and to design and deliver learning opportunities and to record appropriate evidence of skills, knowledge and progression of the learner’s achievements.

This is a permanent position, based at Bracknell and Wokingham College .Full time or part time hours will be considered.  

Annual salary will be based on working hours, contract type and qualifications and experience.

What do you need to be a successful Electrical Installation Assessor at Activate Learning?

The post holder will have extensive knowledge and experience in the electrical installation industry ideally from a blend of domestic and industrial. In addition, you will hold relevant assessor or vocational trainer award D32, D33, D34 OR A1 and of course relevant accreditations as a qualified electrician.

You will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational, and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students acting as a role model throughout.
