This is great opportunity to join a busy and friendly income generating team setting the strategic direction for Community Fundraising operations across the UK.  


What's the role about?

This part time role will provide administrative support to RSPB community fundraising teams cross the UK helping them carry out the existing fundraising operations.

You will play a vital role in key administration tasks including:


- Manage community fundraising email enquiries via our national email address.
- Oversee RSPB eBay pin badge shop operations, liaising with our fulfilment supplier
- Manage the Albatross Stamp Appeal (including supplier liaison)
- Be a first point of contact for Community Fundraising general enquiries
- Respond to RSPB colleague enquiries
- Produce income and financial reporting for the UK community fundraising & Finance team.

- Support the HQ team with a range of administration tasks to deliver fundraising materials, & equipment

- Ensure all processes are fully compliant with fundraising regulations

- Share skill and knowledge to provide additional team cover with the current team part time administrator

- Work with the Community Fundraising HQ management team to identify and develop cross-team income generating opportunities


Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

Experience of providing administrative support such as financial processes, organising and maintaining materials and equipment

Ability to manage virtual & telephone enquiries from staff, volunteers & the public

 Able to build & maintain effective relationships, internally & externally so that all contact is professional and the RSPB is represented positively

 Able to work well under pressure, time manage & delegate effectively

 Good Office desktop skills & knowledge of: Word and Excel, Outlook, Teams

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

Experience of working in an office or customer care environment in an administrative role

Experience of bespoke databases 

Additional information:

Permanent role  0.67 FTE – 25 hours, 0900 to 1400 Monday to Friday. These hours may be reviewed for the right candidate

Based at UKHQ in Sandy, Bedfordshire but may be remotely based to suit the right candidate

Timings:

Required early July or to suit candidate by mutual agreement
