We are looking to hire people to join our plumbing team in Guildford. If you have knowledge and experience in plumbing, we would welcome your application. 

You may not have considered a job like this before and you  may not have direct experience of teaching or a teaching qualification but what is more important is that you have a passion and enthusiasm for developing and nurturing the next generation of plumbing professionals. You will be working towards creating and delivering excellent teaching, learning and assessment on our courses at our Guildford campus. We will support your development and PGCE qualification and you will benefit from a stable and rewarding career path.

We are looking for people who can bring a positivity and enthusiasm to their lectures so that our students enjoy their experience while learning, therefore a genuine interest in working with and developing young professionals is required.

Our students are eager to learn and we want to appoint someone who can provide them with a high level of knowledge that they can utilise in their careers..

Our Technology Faculty has an excellent record of delivering vocational plumbing courses with employability embedded at their heart. This is achieved through excellent relationships with industry and the employment of experts with extensive professional experience within the teaching team. We deliver well-established and highly successful professionally accredited courses in plumbing.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

Ideally, you'll have worked in the trades as a plumber, you will have a passion for building skills of the future generation.  You will also have strong organisation skills coupled with the ability to prioritise workloads and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.  

Candidates with experience in further education, distance learning and higher apprenticeships are also encouraged.  We also welcome applications from those seeking a full or part position.
