Activate Learning is a pioneering education group which exists to transform lives through learning. We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Maths and Physics Teacher to join our Reading College team on a part time basis. You’ll be teaching both subjects at level 2 GCSE and access to higher education level 3.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning.

This is a permanent, part-time role of 26.5 hours per week.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

Successful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification and/or a degree preferably with some teaching experience. This could be in either subject for a candidate with the ability to teach all areas of the role. You will be joining an established and supportive team within our Academic and Professional Studies faculty on a casual contract basis. By working in an educational setting, you will have the opportunity to share your skills and potentially widen your own employment prospects.

You may not have considered using your skills in this way before, so this could take your career and experience in a new direction and may also present opportunities longer term, to provide you with a varied and fulfilling career path.
