£21,298 - £37,387 per annum               

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

(A part time role would be considered for the right applicant)

The opportunity has arisen for an experienced person to join our growing team of Built Environment and Construction lecturing and assessing staff.

You will be expected to prepare lessons, teach and assess across all levels of the built environment and surveying courses (T-Levels and HNC/HND) this will include but is not limited to:

  • Construction technology
  • Health and safety in the built environment
  • Sustainability and new technologies
  • Mathematics for the built environment
  • Construction site supervision
  • Construction science and materials
  • Measurement, tendering and estimating
  • Topographical, Quantity / Valuation and Building Surveying
  • Law and Contract in the construction industry
  • CAD and BIM (Revit)

This role may include visits to sites to gather NVQ portfolio evidence, as well as organising site visits for students to gain real life experiences.

Ideally, you will have experience of teaching / training of learners across a variety of levels. As well as extensive experience in the built environment sector, with the ability to use this experience to further enhance the learner’s college experience.

You will need to be adaptable and accepting of change. Working as part of a team is critical for this role.
