Activate Learning now have an exciting opportunity for an Animal Management Technician to join our team based at our Banbury campus.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day welfare of the livestock; ensuring animal welfare is paramount and in accordance with current legislation. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness through the animal facility and support in the maintenance and care of animal stocks and facilities, ensuring that animals have sufficient food and water or catering to special dietary requirements if needed.

 

What do you need to be a successful Animal Management Technician at Activate Learning?

You will have experience of working within the animal industry, ideally with an animal management or care related qualification. This would include experience of handling a variety of animal species; i.e. companion animals, birds, fish or exotics species (snakes, lizards, amphibians, invertebrates), along with evidence of managing health and safety in the workplace.

You will also need to have a working knowledge of requirements handling the identified species and be educated to GCSE level or equivalent including Maths & English.
