Hours:  30 per week, 37 weeks of the year

Base: Kings Lynn

Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference?  We are looking for someone to share their expertise and experience in Childcare to help our students find valuable work experience placements, assess their skills and qualities in placement as well as offering advice and guidance on future careers and higher education opprtunities.

A level 3 (i.e. A level) or equivalent qualification in Childcare is required for this role, along with experience of working with children in a primary school setting.  You are also required to have or be willing to obtain; Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C,9-4 or equivalent) IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent, level 4 Careers qualification and an assessors award. All of which will be supported whilst in employment. Experience of delivering quality customer care is required as well as the willingness to contact new & potential placement opportunities via phone and email. An interest in working with young people and adults in a supportive and advisory capacity is essential as is the ability to communicate with people on all levels. You will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the students and this means that some evening work will be required.
