Activate Learning are now looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Motor Vehicle Teacher to join our Technology faculty at Blackbird Leys College. This will teach the full spectrum of our Motor Vehicle courses to our learners.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

Successful candidate will have an appropriate professional qualification and/or a degree preferably with teaching experience. Whilst we would prefer applications from qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification and or assessing qualifications, we would consider applications from unqualified applicants with strong classroom experience and with the ability to inspire our learners and a willingness to complete a teaching qualification. Unqualified candidates would start at a lower salary point and this could be discussed at interview, if successfully shortlisted.

A background in Motor Vehicle work is essential, together with experience of new technology including hybrid.

In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
