Job role:

We have an exciting position of ‘Deputy Data Manager – Enrolments’ to join our Data team within Activate Learning.

As part of this role, you will manage a team to ensure that our data collection requirements are met efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis and that we submit accurate and auditable student data to our funding bodies. You will facilitate crucial lines of communication between the Data team and colleagues throughout the College to help achieve our goals. In addition to this, you will support the training and performance management of the Data Officers within the Enrolment team.

This is a permanent, full time role with the potential to be based at any of our Oxford, Banbury, Reading or Guildford campuses.

 

What do you need to be successful in this role?

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing a team within an office environment, preferably in an educational setting.
You will need to have excellent attention to detail and experience of working with large amounts of data.  Knowledge of funding and audit within the education sector would be an advantage.

The data you record will support internal performance monitoring so an ability to understand the connection between data recording and reporting output will be crucial.

You will work closely with the Group Data Manager to evolve the Activate Learning service standards to ensure they are met and exceeded.
