Part Time Hourly Paid 16-19 Tutors (Catch-up Tuition Fund)

As a result of the pandemic The College of West Anglia has received funding to support students who have missed learning opportunities over the last 12 months. This funding is given to us to support eligible students, aged 16 to 19 years old, who were particularly affected, by the disruption to their learning arising from COVID-19. The funding is specifically to be used to provide small group tuition for students.

For students who are eligible, the extra tuition will cover a range of needs including catch up on all aspects of course work, English and Mathematics, and support with developing practical skills in vocational areas. Additionally, all supported students must also be on a 16 to19 study programme. All students accessing this support need to be those students who have not achieved a grade 5, or above, in English or Maths by the age of 16. 

You must have a relevant Level 3 qualification or above or substantial vocational experience

You must also have Level 2 English and Maths, equivalent (GCSE A*-C/9-4), or willingness to gain. Recent industry experience in a relevant area is essential for this role.

We are looking for Tutors to support students with Maths, English, Study Skills, A levels, Visual and performing arts, Hair and Beauty, Science, IT and Computing, Business, Hospitality, Early Years, Health and Social Care, Sports, Leisure and Unformed Services, Animal care, Dog grooming, Equine, Vet Nursing, Construction, Engineering and Electrical.
