Activate Learning are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Early Years Assessor at City of Oxford College. 

You will be responsible for visiting and assessing our CACHE Early Years students whilst on their placements. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an early years/childcare trainer and assessor with passion and drive for education and is committed to enabling our students to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning.

This is a permanent, full time term time only role (0.84 FTE). Part time/job share would also be considered. 

 

What do you need to be a successful Early Years Assessor at Activate Learning?

We are looking for people who can act as role models for our students and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work. A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is a requirement.

Successful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification and/or a degree. In order to assess competence-based units, the successful candidate will be occupationally competent, and be able to demonstrate relevant experience in the early years sector. This competence should be demonstrable through relevant assessor qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will hold either a D32, D33, A1 or TAQA.

In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
