GENERALIST LECTURER

Location: HMP Huntercombe, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 5SB 
Hours: Monday- Thursday mornings 16.5 per week, 52 weeks per year 
Flexible Working: We welcome applications from those seeking flexible or part time hours 
Salary: Up to £14,960 Pro Rata (£34,000 FTE- Subject to experience) 
Reporting To: Education Manager

Milton Keynes College have an opportunity for a passionate Generalist Lecturer who believes in the power of transforming lives through learning. If you can effectively engage with learners and can demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, we would like you to be part our education team based at HMP Huntercombe. The role will involve some delivery in Education as cover, as well as some Outreach delivery on the wings. 

The core of the work will be Maths/English/ESOL/IT, but you may be required to cover vocational subjects with the expectation to teach to meet the contractual demands of the department. Support would be given to develop in subject areas you are not experienced in, as long as you have a passion for teaching and a willingness to develop.

We would like you to be part of the learner’s journey, offering your skills and knowledge to guide them throughout their courses.
