Activate Learning now have an opportunity for a Work Experience Coordinator to join our Lifeskills faculty and support a caseload of students to develop their employability skills and prepare for a work experience placement relevant to their career plans.

Working alongside our teams of learning professionals, you will motivate and support our students with preparing for their work experience placements, as well as progress tracking to ensure all students are given the appropriate guidance and support to complete each stage of the Work Experience process.

This is a fixed term, part-time role during term time, working 30 hours per week at our Bracknell campus until July 2023, with travel to other campuses and placement settings required at times. Travel/mileage expenses can be claimed for any travel from your base campus. 

Salary up to £26,221 per annum pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience.

 

What do you need to be successful  Work Experience Coordinator at Activate Learning?

Our Lifeskills team works to support learners who face substantial barriers to education, including learners with special educational needs. We are looking for a supportive and caring individual, with the ability to develop our students' work readiness/employability skills and experience of delivering one to one student support or group work sessions to learner groups. 

You will have excellent communications skills, along with the ability to build positive networks and relationships with others. You will also be highly organised, with strong administrative and IT skills.
