The HR Team at Activate Learning provides a forward thinking and positive advisory service across the group.  It is a broad collaborative team comprising of Talent, Learning & Development, D&I,HRIS, Reward, HR Services and Business Partnering, where this role sits.  The team supports with Employee Relations, Well Being and building a strong people and coaching culture, where trust and productivity are at the forefront of our behaviours.

Working in partnership with key stakeholders across the business area, you will deliver a proactive generalist HR support and advice service primarily across Oxfordshire. You will be responsible for coaching, supporting and guiding managers through all aspects of employee relations, including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance escalating where necessary to the HR Business Partner with whom you will work closely on more complex issues.

You will be joining the Organisation during an exciting period of change and growth, working as part of a Group HR Team providing HR advice and guidance across all locations.

We are offering this position as a fixed term contract until July 2022, working 37 hours per week. Flexible working patterns would be considered for candidates with the right skills set.

This role can be based at any one of our campuses (Oxfordshire, Berkshire or Surrey), with the willingness to travel across locations when required

What do you need to be successful in this role?

You will have experience in a generalist or HR Advisory job previously, be confident in managing your own ER caseload, including awareness of absence management, conduct, grievance and capability. You will be comfortable working with data and using this to support hiring managers make informed decisions.  Building relationships quickly, providing technical expertise and driving positive outcomes is key to this role.
