CWA prides itself on the way it supports all of our students, regardless of their backgrounds and personal circumstances.  Student Mentors are a critical part of the support in place across all of our campuses providing pastoral support and guidance, with the focus being on keeping learners in education where they are identified as at high risk of disengagement from their studies or withdrawal from the college.

Our student mentor team works collaboratively with internal and external partners to provide multi-agency support and guidance to vulnerable students and learners at risk of leaving their course, and are actively involved in providing them with ongoing support throughout their studies.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving student services team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.  We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.

We offer an excellent package including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year for support staff, plus five College closure days (paid for part year employees), plus Bank Holidays, fee waivers on some College courses, a contributory pension scheme with the Local Government Pension Scheme (current employer contribution is 22.2%), discounts with local businesses and access to a cycle to work scheme.  CWA focusses on staff well-being and utilises both internal and external resources, such as a well-being committee and access to a free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme as well as comprehensive training and development.

Job share opportunities are available for the right candidates.
